New Post for a New Year

With resolution, I admit,
I have neglected my little blog.
(head held low)
2012 is a very good time to
resolutely,
vow,
to put in extra effort
to make your visit
more rewarding,
informative,
and just plain more fun!

With that, let me give you some new
topics. For this year,
2012.
Here is my list in no particular order:

Pinterest - just beginning to learn
Happiness & Optimism
Brit-o-phile - is that a word?
Moving - yes, again!
Cooking, food, and our B&B
Rug Hooking
Reuse, repurpose.
Tea Cozies
Not to forget, Crochet
Making and sewing

Oh! And the thread holding it all together?
H-E-A-R-T
Heart.
It's my theme for this year.
And my hope.
To live, love, appreciate,
With all of my,
from the bottom of my,
heart.
Thank you for stopping by, my lovelies.

Sunday

Pioneer Village Sunday

Crossing the covered bridge into c. 1850, hands held tightly.

Cornhusk wreath making and flower arranging.

Cooking . . .

and more cooking . . . apple butter . . .
Nothings says fall in Indiana like it !
Visit the sheep, newly shorn.

A working water wheel.

The Lauras cabin, and my friend, Joyce.

Rug hooking made a strong showing.

My talented friend, Carolyn.

Such a fine day.

Pioneer Days

Woke up to a near perfect fall morning.
Too good to miss a chance for a romp in the country
at Pioneer Days, an annual event at Fowler Park.
Grabbed my camera and away we went!
