Friday

Southern Indiana

Time traveling last weekend
took me to
Switzerland Co, Indiana.
where I visited
the historic Swiss farmstead
under the wing of my friend

Thursday

On a mission !

The tip of the iceberg - 2 of my original tea cozies.
Oh, tea cozies, you say.
Quaint.
Not these numbers ... more like
radical, renegade, maybe even revolutionary!

Lucy Bird - has suitcase, will travel!

Spreading the word at fiber festivals
can be a full time job!
But such fun, chatting up our retreat,
and meeting lots of new friends.
See all the details at
Deadline is August 1.

sights to behold ...

New Harmony is filled with such history, and we are lucky
enough to look forward to our wonderful
FLOCK Retreat for 2011 at the Barn Abbey.
If you don't know about it, drop over to
www.flockretreat.blogspot.com
and investigate. We are too excited!
Drinking in the Granary at twilight.

Tuesday

A Swell Show !

It was that!
And promises to be a much anticipated
annual event.

Hat? no. Purse? no.
Then what the h#$%?

A tea cozy. Yes!

A funky, recycled, upswing of a kitchen counter folk art piece.
Don't drink tea? Then coffee cozy . . . or french press cozy . . . or
whatever you want it to be cozy!
Each with it's own personality and embellishments.
It's a revival!
Some are renegade, some are radical, a few even revolutionary!
(perhaps I fabricate....)

Hand dyes . . .

And more hand dyes . . . !

Catching up on the home front after the 5 days away.
Will be back soon.
Much to get ready for. . .
